Viv developed a family of ad concepts and signage that could scale across campus touchpoints while staying crisp, direct, and aligned with Northeastern’s brand standards.

The Assignment

Make key services easier to notice, understand, and use.

Information Technology Services needed campus audiences to recognize the support available to them at the moments they were most likely to need it.

We approached the work as a communication system: reusable concepts, concise copy, and signage that could be tailored to different IT challenges without losing visual consistency.

AwarenessCampaign concepts designed around quick recognition in busy higher-ed spaces.
ScaleCreative built to work across campus signage, service prompts, and student-facing touchpoints.
ClarityMessaging centered on what people needed to do next, not on internal service complexity.

Every aspect of the Viv team and the work they took on for us was well-developed and hyper-focused to meet specific goals and follow branding guidelines.

Why this format works

A stronger portfolio story without overcomplicating the build.

For text-heavy work, the new format lets the strategy, testimonial, and proof points carry the page. It can still accept imagery later, but it does not depend on unavailable assets to feel finished.

01

Lead with the job

The headline names the practical result instead of only naming the deliverable.

02

Use proof as structure

The stats area becomes an editable proof band, even when exact numbers still need cleanup.

03

Keep the old trail

The concept links back to the original portfolio item so nothing gets lost while we iterate.
